Has nothing to do with yours – or does it? – anyway, my favorite latest bumper sticker spied somewhere in Kentucky: “08. Obama. Oh shit.”
I’ve seen this bumper sticker and find it very cool. (The wandering one, not the Obama one.)
r: This is really only funny in Kentucky.
JV: Yeah. It’s a pretty good line.
Also seen on a ‘Life is Good’ t-shirt with the cool character Jake. :-) (not the Obama one)
I didn’t think it was funny so much as quintessentially American….or Kentuckian….
Fair enough, but isn’t Daniel Boone also “quintessentially Kentuckian”? Ah, for the days of the raccoon skin hat. :)
Fess Parker’s still alive and owns and operates a winery/inn/spa/bed & breakfast in Santa Barbara, California, and I think it was Disney that put ‘coon skin caps on the pates of Dan’l Boone and Davey Crockett.
