An Deux

Been at this thing, surprisingly, for two years. Will eventually continue with verve, panache and enthusiasm, but right now I have better things to do. Besides, this venue is for depth, despair, deconstruction and the documentation of decay. None of these is currently relevant. When they are, I’ll come back to it. For now, I’m on vacation.

Let the endless summer begin…

    Really?

  3. The Necromancer Says:

    S’Mat: Well said.

    Shefaly: Yup. Really, really.

    Summer…Finally! Hurray!

  5. Bunk Strutts Says:

    Rock on, bro.

KImber: I was going to go back on my word and actually write a post about all these random feet showing up around here, but I decided it was jumping on the bandwagon. Everybody and their dog is talking about it. Besides, your explanation is the best I’ve run across, and as far as I’m concerned the mystery is largely solved. Actually made me think — why don’t they do DNA tests on this tissue? Wouldn’t that help them answer some questions? Weird.

    Strutts: Thanks. Will do.

N.B. When Goggle marks the solstice, you know summer has really begun. Because that’s important…

  7. Shefaly Says:

What? You are still here? ;-)

Weird to call it the start of summer, when every day gets progressively – even if not noticeably – shorter. We should call this end of summer.

So I had to find a place to stick this…But in the wikipedia entry on necromancy it states “…Ovid writes of a marketplace in the underworld, where the dead could exchange news and gossip”…

It somehow seems rather appropriate then too for you, Necromancer, to have a blog…but I fear this implicates me and everyone else on here?

  9. Bunk Strutts Says:

Dead is all relative, and for some, it’s underrated, too.

  10. The Necromancer Says:

Isis: You’re implicated, alright. I originally had another reference in mind regarding the name (see “about”), but the idea of a conspiratorial necropolis works for me. Cool quote, BTW…

    BS: Indeed.
